Oh I so completely understand.
LOL! That's hilarious.
I've waited years for those words.
Still waiting.
Thanks for renewing the hope...
Tip, &D: appeal to his working life.
The context was that I have been very crook with a killer sore throat (couldn't even swallow sips of water for a day or two, just ice) and associated vile symptoms, on top of an earlier dragging head cold, and the consensus is that my immune system is crap and I am generally run down. He was nagging me by text to rest, and I was saying that deadline day waits for no woman, and he was saying Pfft, bugger the deadlines. So I bethought me of his farming background and texted back 'Deadlines are like lambs, they won't wait around to be born until you're feeling better.' Which was when he finally said it, and yes indeed it was a first.
What a monument he is though.
Hopefully a moderate monument, as
I read ->
'from phone service provider Boost Mobile that text traffic had almost doubled in volume since 2008.
One of Boost's teenage customers was averaging 444 messages a day.
Among the possible downsides of texting, outlined by Ms.Carroll:
- Textaphrenia: the mistaken belief that you have heard the beep or felt the vibration of an incoming text message.
- Post-traumatic text disorder: when texters walk into things or are otherwise oblivious to what is around them.
- Textiety: the crisis of confidence when time goes by without a text being received.
- Binge texting: sending a blizzard of texts to boost confidence.
"With textaphrenia and textiety, there's a feeling no one loves me, no one's contacted me," Ms.Carroll told the Herald Sun newspaper.'
PS get well soon - sipping whiskey cures a lot of stuff if you risk it.
