The part of my job that I routinely most enjoy is the piling-up and eventual ripping-open of bags of new books for review. Today, one of these is a large heavy book with a shiny cover in that hue of heavily-saturated candy pink that unmistakably signifies chick lit. On the back there's a partial plot summary about international travel and intrigue and murders and so on, and among the various blurb lines that follow, someone has said 'It's James Bond for girls.'
Tautology city.
Bad Sisters season two is a darker, more serious look at sisterhood
-
The sisters are still very close, cloyingly so at times, always in each
other’s houses, lives and pockets.

(Ahh... I've always had a bit of a thing for blonds. Which explains why I'm married to a brunet. And in fact, I've never even gone out with a blond. What's with that, then?)
James Bond for girls is Jason Bourne as portrayed in the films by Matt Damon.
And Deborah - I married a blond - a young George Peppardish looking one!
librarygirl, ya think? I reckon Matt Damon looks sort of unformed and gormless, as if he's not quite ready to throw out the Clearasil yet. But then, I've never liked baby-faces.
I never liked Matt Damon until I saw him in the Bourne movies - weird smile, too many teeth or something? - but he Never Smiles
as Bourne, hence the appeal.
He was a pretty good psychopath in the Ripley film too.
He looks like he's just remembered something disturbing.
I keep coming back to this post for a little cheering up when I feel a bit stressed.
Sigh.
James Bond for the girls. And anyone who enjoys a little Great British.
Dogpossum, for a stressbusting alternative you might remember this.
