Thanks Pav. It's very odd. This song came into my head a fortnight ago so I went and purchased it then from iTunes: the Judy Collins version as well as an ensemble version by Nanci Griffith with Lucinda Williams, Odetta, Steve Earle and Tish Hinjosa. As I listened to it, it had an incredible poignancy even before the events off Christmas Island this past week.
